Voters approved a $23.5 million referendum in April 2025 to fund improvements in four areas: safety and security, infrastructure, Career and Technical Education, and facility access. Projects include new secured offices for the elementary and high schools, Tech Ed Center renovation and addition, Fine Arts wing addition, remodeled middle and high school locker rooms, and infrastructure updates, replacements, and site improvements.

"We are grateful for the trust our community has placed in us with this investment. We are committed to being careful stewards of these funds and making sure every dollar is spent to benefit students," continued Zimmerman.

Construction is scheduled for completion before the 2027-28 school year, with most interior work planned for the summers of 2026 and 2027 to minimize disruption to students and staff.

The district is partnering with Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. on all phases of the projects, including planning, design, and construction management.
