Hoffman’s project management experts use historical data from past projects to collaborate with our architectural staff during the design process, searching for ways to maximize our clients’ target budget. We offer clients choices so their budget is spent responsibly.
Hoffman constructs projects using highly skilled subcontractors selected through a highly competitive bid and rigorous qualification process. We generate a high number of bids by actively marketing projects to local and regional subcontractors and structure bid packages so everyone can compete—from small, specialized firms to the large multi-trade subcontractors.
Using our comprehensive qualification process, our project managers confirm each subcontractor has the people, equipment, experience, financial capability, and safety record to deliver on time and budget. Hoffman project managers then recommend the best options to our clients, who choose the subcontractors they want working on their projects. Our team of expert, on-site field project managers then ensure that all subcontractors comply with the plans and specifications and that our clients’ schedule, safety, quality, and sustainability standards are met. This approach has saved clients up to 25% of the project cost.

Similar to our planning and design, our construction services are completely transparent. Subcontractor costs are passed through at cost with no mark-up added by Hoffman. All project savings are returned to our clients. We offer open-book project accounting so clients can view every bid and subcontractor cost, giving them complete visibility of all construction expenses.
