“We were honored to partner with Immanuel Lutheran on this critical project for their congregation,” said Todd Dvorak, project architect at Hoffman. “The project presented some unique challenges by needing to serve a number of different groups, as well as blend a variety of new and existing spaces. Together we developed a design solution that provides a connection between the church and school and a natural flow for everyone.”
The addition was designed to connect the existing worship area and school spaces. The expansion provides:
• additional classrooms, including a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) lab,
• additional pre-school and before/after care spaces,
• a large gathering area—called the Christian Life Center—for fellowship, outreach, and Bible classes,
• and a large administrative area for all staff to be in one central location.
“We’re very excited to reach completion of this important project for the school and church,” said Richard Huebner, school principal. “This will certainly enhance the Christian learning environment for all of our students for many years to come.”
