(Appleton, Wis.) – Community members joined students, their families, and representatives from the Shawano School District and Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. on Monday, Aug. 17, 2026, for a ribbon cutting ceremony to dedicate the new high school athletic complex. The ceremony, featuring remarks from Superintendent Kurt Krizan and School Board President Christine McKinnies, took place just less than a year since the groundbreaking ceremony last August.
