(Appleton, Wis.) – Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. has partnered with Syble Hopp School in De Pere on a capital improvement project aimed at enhancing its student learning environment.

After identifying the need for repairs and strategic upgrades, Syble Hopp School engaged Hoffman to conduct an extensive facility audit and assessment. This effort was followed by a detailed planning phase to prioritize improvements and establish a long-term vision for the campus. Hoffman has since provided design and pre-construction services and will manage the upcoming facility renovation, which is set to begin in late spring.

“We are excited to work with Hoffman as we take this important step forward for our school,” said Erin Martini, Administrator at Syble Hopp School. “These enhancements will help modernize our learning spaces and enhance the overall experience for our students and staff.”

The initial phase of the school’s master plan will renovate approximately 3,430 square feet, covering all K-5 classrooms and much of the 6-Transition area classrooms. Improvements include updates to all classroom bathrooms, the addition of a new bathroom within a classroom, and the removal of an overhead coiling door in the art room. The project also includes renovations to public restrooms in the 1971 wing, select locker room upgrades, and various internal and external maintenance improvements.

Renovation work is expected to begin within the next few weeks, with the initial enhancements targeted for completion in late summer 2026.

“Syble Hopp School has a clear vision for creating an enhanced learning environment that greatly supports its students and staff,” said Jody Andres, K-12 Market Leader at Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. “We’re proud to be their partner in this journey to bring their vision to life.”

Additional phases of the master plan will be implemented over time as the school continues to invest in its facilities.
