Chilton Public Schools Kicks Off Football Season with Opening of New Athletic Complex
(Appleton, Wis) – Home field advantage has a new meaning for Chilton Public Schools athletics. On Thursday, Aug. 17, District officials, students, community members, and representatives from Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. cut the ribbon on the District’s new athletic complex, completing phase one of the $19.3 million project approved by voters in the April 2022 referendum.
“Our new, on-campus athletic complex looks beautiful and staff, students, and the Chilton community are thrilled to kick-off the school year with this ribbon cutting celebration followed by the high school’s first football game of the season,” said Susan Kaphingst, Chilton Public Schools Superintendent. “A wonderful addition to our campus, the new track, field, and entire complex are first-rate facilities that will be utilized by generations of Chilton student athletes for years to come.”
