Hoffman was hired by the Wittenberg-Birnamwood School District to provide complete planning, design, and construction services.

Following facility and site assessments at the District’s elementary, middle, and high schools, a planning effort began in late 2015. The assessment findings were incorporated into the process to identify one ideal option as Hoffman assisted the District in preparing for a $13.1 million referendum in November 2018, which was successful.

Hoffman then provided full design and construction management services for additions and renovations to the District’s two elementary/middle schools and its high school. The projects at the two elementary/middle schools included remodeling of the entrances and offices to provide improved security and controlled access, addition of entrance ramps for accessibility, and new classrooms.

“I have always felt that Hoffman served in the best interest of our District and never once waivered from that commitment.”

Garrett Rogowski

Superintendent

At the high school, a new 7,200sf agricultural education building was added to the campus. Several areas of the high school were renovated, including the primary entrance and office in order to provide improved security and controlled access.

Improvements were made to the tech ed area to address career training, STEM education, and interdisciplinary project collaboration, and renovations were made to the fitness center. The library was remodeled to create enhanced collaboration spaces and the building’s systems and lighting were updated.
