Following the successful passage of the $25.7 million referendum in April, Hoffman provided design and then construction management services.
The District-wide projects included additions to the elementary / middle school and the District office / high school and comprehensive interior renovations, including infrastructure replacements and upgrades, expansion of administrative and support spaces, and safety and security enhancements. Areas that were remodeled include the middle / high school library, middle school math and science classrooms, and the high school Food and Consumer Science lab. Additionally, the last remaining courtyard on the property was enclosed and turned into a collaboration space for 6th grade classrooms (as well as surrounding classrooms).
The highlight of the project was the addition of the new Herbert and Evelyn Wolding Family STEAM Center. The 22,280sf STEAM Center houses shops for wood, auto, and metal; art, math, and science classrooms; an animal area and aquaponics; and a headhouse and new greenhouse.
