Our involvement included providing facility assessments, educational adequacy assessments, and pre-referendum and referendum assistance. Following a successful April 2017 referendum, Hoffman provided full design and comprehensive construction management services.
The project featured improvements at Kennedy and Woodview Elementary Schools and Grafton High School. The existing Grafton Elementary School was deconstructed in 2018 and the remaining two elementary schools were expanded to accommodate the additional students starting with the 2018-2019 school year. Kennedy welcomed a two-story addition for grades 4 and 5, new music and art rooms, a new library/media center, and new gymnasium. Renovations touched office space, special needs areas, and two 4K classrooms. The existing library was converted to a Kindergarten and Special Needs space and the music area converted to Intellectual Disability (ID) space.
