Hoffman and Boldt Partner for National Rebuilding Day

(Appleton, Wis.) – Volunteers from Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, inc. and The Boldt Company will join forces to renovate a home in Seymour – being sponsored by both firms – as part of Rebuilding Together Fox Valley’s (RTFV) National Rebuilding Day on Saturday, April 27.

The Hoffman-Boldt team will include nearly 30 people – consisting of employees, spouses, parents, and children – performing a wide range of duties from project manager to cleanup crew. The National Rebuilding Day co-sponsorship is just the latest collaboration between the two Fox Cities firms, who have partnered in the past on numerous facility projects and supported other community focused initiatives.

“Last year, seven project managers from Hoffman played key roles at several locations as part of Project Day, now known as National Rebuilding Day,” said Joe Truehart, Hoffman senior project manager and RTFV board vice president. “This year we’re excited to bring together an entire team of volunteers from Hoffman and Boldt to tackle a significant, single home project.”

Hoffman will also have four construction project managers serve as House Captains at four different Fox Cities homes involved in National Rebuilding Day.

With the help of volunteers, skilled tradespeople and the support of local businesses and corporate sponsors, Rebuilding Together Fox Valley strives to make life better for low-income elderly, disabled and veteran homeowners throughout the year. The goal is to positively impact the living conditions of homeowners to help them live in warmth, safety and independence.

“We are thrilled to partner with Hoffman to make a difference in the community,” said Tom Bolles, Boldt senior director of field operations and workforce development and advisor to the RTFV board. “Through the work of our dedicated volunteers, we are able to impact the lives of homeowners in need. We fully support Rebuilding Together Fox Valley and its mission to ensure everyone can live in a safe home and neighborhood.”

“These projects are critical and enable our community members to safely stay in their homes,” Truehart added. “Each year, Rebuilding Together Fox Valley completes 50-75 home repair projects with the help of more than 1,000 volunteers and contractors.”

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers and Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes are expected to attend a portion of the day’s events.
