(Appleton, WI) – Primrose Retirement Communities is nearing completion of its first location in Northeast Wisconsin and together with Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc.—the firm providing construction management services—gave a behind-the-scenes look at the nearly-complete Appleton campus today.

The senior living campus, set to open in September, will include a two-story, 76 apartment independent living/assisted living community (IL/AL), five independent living villas, and a 24-apartment memory care facility. Residents can relax in the IL/AL facility’s first-floor dining area and fire side lounge, as well as the second-floor pub, theater room, and bistro.

“We can’t wait to open this wonderful campus and these beautiful new communities to Appleton and the surrounding areas,” said Breeze Skorupski, executive director of Primrose Appleton. “Our residents will have the finest in senior care amenities and enjoy our spacious independent and assisted living apartments. Hoffman has done an excellent job overseeing the construction and keeping the project on track for our opening.” Primrose has retirement communities in 17 states, including Wisconsin where it has campuses in Wausau and Racine.

Hoffman has more than 30 years of experience assisting senior living providers with their facility needs, something Sam Statz, Hoffman president, says benefited Primrose’s project. “We are honored to have partnered with Primrose and help them bring to Appleton and the surrounding areas a first-class senior care campus. Drawing on our years of experience, we were able to assist them in developing a modern, home-like environment for seniors that matches the high level of care that Primrose is known for.”
