Duffy Joins Hoffman
Hoffman is proud to announce the addition of Kevin Duffy to its staff as a senior project manager. A Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Accredited Professional, Duffy brings 12 years of experience in the construction industry, including a previous stint with Hoffman where he served as a project manager. Duffy’s main responsibilities include overall project coordination, ranging from managing the construction process to ensuring complete customer satisfaction with budget, schedule, and quality of the finished product.
Holy Wisdom Monastery Featured by National Media
With the announcement that Holy Wisdom Monastery earned a LEED Platinum rating from U.S. Green Building Council® and became the highest-rated LEED-New Construction building in the United States to date, the national media is taking notice. The collaboration between the Benedictine Women of Madison and Hoffman has caught the attention of numerous national media outlets, including CNN, USA Today, AOL Small Business, and Bloomberg Businessweek. Closer to home, the Sisters joined Jean Feraca on her Wisconsin Public Radio show, “Here On Earth”, to discuss the project and its achievements.
Village of Necedah Breaks Ground on Library
Hoffman joined the Village of Necedah as they broke ground on the new Necedah Community-Siegler Memorial Library. The single story, 6,000 square foot library, which will provide residents with a sustainable learning environment, is expected to be completed in October of 2010. Hoffman’s past project experience in Necedah includes partnering with the Necedah Area School District on the planning, design, and construction management of the 165,000 square foot Necedah PreK-12 School, which was completed in 1998.
