Hoffman LLC Gives a “How To” in Renovating Senior Living Facilities
Design and construction professionals present to senior living providers at annual conference

(Appleton, WI) Hoffman LLC senior project manager Terry Ellenbecker and project architect Julie Heiberger will discuss proven ways senior living providers can renovate their facilities while on a budget during LeadingAge Wisconsin’s (formerly Wisconsin Association of Homes and Services for the Aging) 2012 Spring Conference and Annual Business Meeting. The conference takes place at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells May 2 – 4.

During the presentation, “Renovating on a Budget: A ‘How-To’ Session,” Ellenbecker and Heiberger will share numerous ways to re-energize and upgrade an existing facility without sacrificing a budget. “When you consider the state of the economy and budget constraints, designing and building a new facility isn’t an option for many providers,” Ellenbecker stated. “Our goal is to share ideas and examples of successful renovations that were completed within a defined budget, support the person-centered model of patient care, and kept the provider competitive in the market.”

With more than 45 years of combined industry experience, Ellenbecker and Heiberger are experts in developing and implementing cost-effective ideas that can significantly upgrade a senior living facility. “Involving administrators and staff at the start of the process and throughout the renovation is key,” Heiberger stated. “This communication ensures we are meeting staff and resident needs, and staying within budget while creating for their organization an inviting, home-like person-centered environment.”

Hoffman is a nationally recognized leader in senior housing planning, architecture, and construction and designed and built the first two Green House® Homes in the state of Wisconsin, which are located at Lutheran Homes of Oshkosh’s Eden Meadows campus.
