Looking Forward After the Pandemic
Hoffman brings insight to Wisconsin Senior Living Conference

(Appleton, Wis.) – While the COVID-19 pandemic was difficult for people and organizations around the world, hit especially hard were assisted living communities. Julie Heiberger of Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. says now is the time for senior living providers to learn from the pandemic and adapt for the future.

Heiberger, a Senior Project Architect at Hoffman, will join Michael Edwin of BakerTilly to present, “Forward Looking and Diversification of Assisted Living” at the LeadingAge Wisconsin Fall Conference Oct. 7 in Green Bay.

“Assisted living professionals realize they must become more creative and innovative to better position their facilities for the future,” Heiberger said. “This includes considering diversification of and/or the expansion of added services for seniors.”

Hoffman has been assisting senior care organizations throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest for more than 30 years. Wisconsin providers they have partnered with in recent years include:

>> Lutheran Homes of Oshkosh, Oshkosh, Wis.
>> Primrose Retirement Community, Appleton, Wis.
>> Skaalen Retirement Services, Stoughton, Wis.
>> Christian Home & Rehabilitation Center, Waupun, Wis.
>> Woodside Senior Communities, Green Bay, Wis.
>> Golden Years, Lake Geneva, Wis.

A leader in senior advocacy and education, LeadingAge Wisconsin is committed to advancing the fields of long-term care, assisted living and retirement living, developing a continuum of elderly care and services to meet the needs of seniors and those with disabilities.
