Hoffman Project Managers Step up for RTFV Project Day

(Appleton, WI) – Seven project managers from Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction will play key roles in home renovation projects to help veterans, the elderly, and others who need help to stay in their homes.

“Rebuilding Together Fox Valley’s (RTFV) Project Day is when our teams of volunteers perform renovations and clean-up at a number of homes throughout the Fox Valley,” said Joe Truehart, Hoffman senior project manager and RTFV board member. “Our seven project managers will lead three different volunteer teams on Saturday, April 28th at three different locations – Appleton, Greenville, and Combined Locks.”

Each house needs trained project managers to prepare the project so that when the volunteers arrive, they have all the resources ready to finish the tasks. Truehart adds that the project managers also coordinate the materials and the task assignments for the volunteers. All home renovations and clean-ups are done at no cost to the residents.

“These projects are critical and enable our community members to stay in their homes and be safe,” Truehart added. “Each year Rebuilding Together Fox Valley completes between 50-75 home repair projects with the help of more than 1,000 skilled and general volunteers, and contractors.”
